TONKIN TRILOGY BOOK 1

Thousands of years had passed since my ancestors played the antagonistic role in the War of the Dragonfae, but many times I would find myself laying in bed at night, staring blankly at my ceiling, wishing I'd been born under a different name.

My name is Kurt Tonkin, and I am a descendant of Kana-Vieve Tonkin, the woman who was single-handedly responsible for starting the War, in which hundreds of thousands of men and women were slaughtered for fighting toward what they believed in.
Despite the War having happened thousands of years before I was even born, it still had a major impact on my life; we would learn about it in History class. Granted, it was one hell of an interesting topic to be learning about, and I enjoyed reading about the psychology and dynamics behind the War plans and stuff, but every now and then it would take a toll on me.
But that wasn't the only problem; since the Battle for Vos, where Jazpah Nach's glow spread across the land, the count of people born with Supernatural Abilities had gone from four to four million. Sure, that's only a handful of the world's population, but when you go to a school filled to the brim with them, things can get chaotic.

I was seventeen, quiet, modest, and a father-to-be. I should've been nervous, as that could have changed the course of my entire life, but truthfully, I was just beyond excited.
That all changed, though, when a new threat surfaced in the form of Zenoir, the Master of Illusions. He was once known by the name 'Paragon W'Yne', a knight in the army that rebelled against Kana-Vieve Tonkin in the War of the Dragonfae, and later the Battle for Vos.
My story begins on a night like every other; with a dream...
